Footymatch is a UK-based dating and social app for football supporters aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18+ and that all information you provide is true.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Footymatch is inclusive. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination on grounds of gender, race, sexuality, religion, or disability, or any threatening behaviour is forbidden. Content depicting minors, violence or explicit sexual acts is forbidden and will be reported to authorities.
You retain ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting, you grant Footymatch a limited licence to display it inside the app to other users. Do not post photos of others without their consent.
The 'Verified Supporter' badge indicates that a selfie matched a gesture prompt via an automated check. It is a signal of authenticity — it does not guarantee identity, character or intent. Always meet in a public place.
Use the report / block controls if someone behaves inappropriately. We review reports within a reasonable timeframe and may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. Serious concerns should be reported to the police as well.
You are meeting other adults at your own risk. Footymatch does not perform background checks. Tell a friend where you are going, meet in busy public places, and trust your gut.
Footymatch is free during the beta. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future — we will always tell you before charging you anything.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. Deletion is permanent.
Footymatch is provided 'as is'. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we exclude liability for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
